den ich 1980 in Lausegger´s legendärem "For Music" in der Alserstraße erstanden habe...

Für alle, die´s nicht wissen:

Robert Moog baute zwischen 1978 und 1981 davon gerade noch mal ca. 1.000 Stk., ehe er seine Firma verkaufte und danach der Bau dieses Modells eingestellt wurde.

Die Features dieses Keyboards wußten unter anderem Keith Emerson (ELP) und Steve Winwood mehr als nur zu schätzen und lauten im O-Ton wie folgt:

The Multimoog was the big brother to the Micromoog . It's a classic monophonic synth that features 2 oscillators, a ribbon controller, variable waveforms, flexible sample and hold, LFO, aftertouch (for pitch, VCF, or LFO rate) and a great sounding 24dB Moog filter. Like the Micromoog, the Multimoog was designed to be a cheaper alternative to the Minimoog.

The Multimoog is a monophonic, analog synthesizer manufactured by Moog Music from 1978–81. Derived from the earlier Micromoog (internally, it consists of a stock Micromoog circuit board with the extra circuitry on a second board), the Multimoog was intended to be a less expensive alternative to the Minimoog. It nevertheless had some advanced features which the Minimoog did not—most notably, it was one of the earliest synthesizers to feature aftertouch capability.
