ASTER J1 HUDSON 5265 LIVE STEAM REBUILT AS NEW

This stunning Aster HUDSON J1, live steam N°144 has a singular story: I bought it in 2010 from Canada , when I received the model, I had a look on every parts of the engine and she seemed very well built and never fired,
so I put it in display at home in my show case,Five years ago...
.... Until of of my friend, a very good engineer, has a glance on the valve setting and asked me about it:,"she's beautiful , but do you tried to steam it ? because she seems difficult to drive: valve gears are not in the right place and it seems impossible to have a correct steam stroke and exhaust... do you want to know?
I get him the machine, He went to his workshop with her and call me a lot of days later :" nothing is in the right place, she couldnt work properly and I should have to diassemble it and all rebuild , changing all joints and gaskets with original new parts.
He did and two month later, I have a brand new Hudson , riding on roller proof stand with air at only TWO bars, smooth and regular.;
Then it is a new old kit rebuilt
never fired and with all smooth rolling stock, very beautiful paint
Coming with the original Aster case and display track.
